Online nursing courses can vary depending on the degree youre applying for, but they make the classes much easier to fit into your schedule. On this note, in order to become a RN (registered nurse), you can participate in a two-year associate degree program at a community college, a four-year university program or a three-year diploma program.For a shorter college experience you might opt for an LPN (licensed practical nurse) degree, for which the online nursing courses can be completed in 12 or 24 months, and allow you to work with patients providing health care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
